Pride. A high or inordinate opinion of one’s own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, conduct, etc.

In terms of the 7 deadly sins, Pride is considered the most offensive to God.

The design of this hand captures the disdain and contempt for others. The singular finger depicts ‘I’ in a subtle fashion, whilst the slightly unnatural straight pose of the hand, though easily achievable, is actually stressful and a little painful to maintain, ultimately just like the emotion.
