A diorama of seven miniature bronze skeletons set on a base of 2000 year old oak.Ray loved the skeletons so much he endorsed the limited edition. The skeletons are approximately one tenth life size and this sculpture is seven inches tall. The five sword wielding skeletons each had a different design on the shield. Alpha depicted Medusa, Beta a Lion, Gamma a Warrior, Delta an Octopus and Epsilon a Minotaur. The two skeletons with spears were Zeta holding a leaf shaped spear and Eta with a barbed spear. There was also an eighth sculpture called Theta which was a skeletal arm punching out of the ground holding a sword (representing the moment the skeletons emerged) – Theta was only available with a complete set and could not be purchased separately. • Some Like It Hot' Original Vintage Film Poster, American, 1959

Billy Wilder's timeless screwball comedy 'Some Like It Hot' needs no introduction - with it's non-stop action, smutty one-liners, sexual innuendo and skilful blend of high and low comedy, it is widely regarded as one of the most hilarious movies ever made. On the run from Chicago mobsters, musicians Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon disguise themselves as women to join an all-female jazz band bound for Florida. Curtis double masquerades as an impotent millionaire to win the irresistible Marilyn Monroe, who steals the show as singer Sugar Kane, while Lemmon is pursued by a real millionaire. Daring at the time for its themes of cross-dressing, gender identity and homosexuality, the film was released without approval from the Motion Picture Production Code, yet was an overwhelming success and went on to receive six Oscar nominations. With a knowing wink, Marilyn takes centre stage on this classic US One Sheet poster for one of the all time classic comedies.Condition report:  Conservation backed on linen. There are three very minor scuffs to the lower part of the poster which are hardly noticeable otherwise Image and colours ate excellent.Size: (w x h) 83cm x 109cm
